For the past two days we've been assessing the students in their OSCEs (clinical exam assessment thingies). I was on the NG tube station and nearly fell into a coma more than once with the boredom, its very dull watching a dummy get a tube shoved up its nose 26 times! As least when I did it as a student we had to practice on eachother - Duncan had the pleasure and I heaved and vomited in front of the select group that was watching us, they had to stand back as Duncan got so excited that he waved the end of the tube about with my stomach contents splashing about on the floor!
Anyway, back to the ranch....most students passed, scraped by in some cases. The worrying thing is they have been in practice for over 2 months and have been doing it for real, who knows what catastrophes have gone unseen
