Flying ants

The rains have come and so now the flying ants are out an about too - they’re everywhere, their wings collecting in fluttering piles in every nook and crannie.

Disturbingly though the normal mini-ants (that are also out and about in force) seem to be engaging in a cannibalistic frenzy, munching happily on their unfortunate superiors, whose wings must have dropped off mid-flight and sent then crashing to their deaths… Random heaving masses dot the khonde while other ants march about, in single purposeful lines, passing on the message that there is something up ahead.

Ooohh, I remember those ones! You can actually eat them! In Muona they collected buckets full and then fried them! So if you're short on cash and can't buy any food, not to worry, nature provides! ;)
