Fanta and crisips

I could kiss them all – the people I work with at the NMC threw me a belated birthday party this afternoon. They piled into the committee room, said an opening prayer, and then once the fantas and crisips were distributed, they all sang and gave me a card! I had to make a mini-speech, which actually I really wanted to do to say thank you to all of them for being so incredibly welcoming and helpful to me. I’ve only been here three weeks but already it feels comfortable. I know there is a lot to learn and a lot to do but if the rest is a good as the start, it’ll all be fine.
