Buns in the oven

No, no – no one get excited ! There are no babies on the way – just delicious cakes and other baked goods!

Thanks to my lovely sisters who paid for my newest toy, a mini-oven, I now have a whole new lease of life on the cooking front. After a long time of wet stuff, pasta and sauce, rice and veg stew, boiled potatoes and beans I’m looking forward to crunchy pasta bake, roasted veg and baked potatoes instead – yey!

But, first things first - fairy cakes! My lovely friend Niki sent a packet mix for my birthday and now, finally, I’ve made them – thank you Niki!
